The problem with most websites is they are pretty anonymous, so we thought it would be interesting to give you an insight into some of the people who form the Apex team.
After all, they are our biggest asset. It’s their friendly approach and high service levels which gives us a competitive edge and keeps our existing clients coming back for more.
So, we’d like you to meet…
Andrea Perry — Graphics Project Manager
Not many people in the country can claim to have won a genuine Blue Peter Badge. Andrea drew
a picture of a dog for the front of the radio times and got a letter from Biddy Baxter! After 11 years with Apex, Andrea has
become an invaluable member of the team designing and co-ordinating exhibition stand
and stage set graphics. Her attention to detail and determination never to miss a deadline
keeps her constantly busy, but in her free time Andrea sees friends, walks her mad dog, reads, draws and listens to rock music.
Phil Ridley — Point of Purchase Design & Production Manager
Phil is responsible for some of the most creative POP and retail display designs in the
business and he's won awards to prove it. What he's more modest about is the fact that he
helps to save lives as part of a Peak District mountain rescue team, often in very bad
weather and at very odd times of the day or night. Luckily for Apex, so far he's not been
called away from his desk to jump into a landrover, but there's always a first time...
Stuart Brown — Technical Project Manager
It's not every die-hard supporter who can claim to have scored four goals on the hallowed
turf that is Manchester City's Maine Road ground. Our Stu may just have been playing in a charity match
but he's got the video to prove it. Stuart runs the 'engine room' of our event team, overseeing set build,
equipment, crews and transport. He has a knack of making sure everything (and everyone) is in the right place
at the right time ready to make the show happen, whether in Barcelona or Brighton.
